We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
Fairly self explanitory. We belive that because of the fall of adam we live in a sin stained world, that has been made that way because of the choices of man. Therefore we are not responsible for Adam, we are responsible for us and all that we preside over and do not have an "origonal sin" we are born with. This is why when we are babtized we wait until we are of an age when we know right from wrong. Generaly 8 years old.
Remeber " Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy" ~2 Nephi 2:25
We "are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself." ~2Nephi 2:27

The First Article of Faith
In order to get the Facts straight about our Faith, John Wentworth on behalf of his friend Mr. Barstow asked Joseph Smith the Founder of the Mormon faith to give an accounting of the "rise, progress, persecution, and faith of the Latter-day Saints:" He did so with only one Request That being "that he publish the account entire, ungarnished, and without misrepresentation." To avoid confusion .... unlike this video.
The First Article of Faith is as fallows:
"We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost"
Not to ba confused with Polytheism we belive them to be seprate, with diffrent roles The Son with the role as the Redeemer of the world. The Holy Ghost being to testify of Christ and The Father and of all Truth, and the role of the Father as ruler of the Earth and Heavens.
"We belive these three devine persons constituting a single godhead are united in pourpous, in manner, in testimony in mission. We belive them to be filled with the same godly sense of mercy and love justice and grace, patience, forgiveness and redemtion. Ithink its accurate to say we belive they are one in every significant and eternay aspect imaginable. Except, beliving them to be combined in one substance... we declare it is self-evident from the scriptures that the Father, son and Holy Ghost are seprate persons, three devine beings." ~Jeffery R. Holland.
